Hello!

I special ordered a GLE 350 4matic on August 27, 2020. I was told it would be ready mid-October. I called the dealer today and they now said "hopefully" delivery by Thanksgiving (November 25). Is anyone else in this situation? I understand that COVID is playing a role in this delay but this seems like a long wait for a car that is being built in Alabama.

Have a quick search and you will find this is not unexpected at this point. It is mostly due to chip shortages. Many people are getting deliveries with credit for options that were not available.

I ordered my GLE 450 in July 2021 and it was built about 11 weeks later, still waiting for it to be received at the dealership. For you, I would think around 13 weeks after your order to get the car. Good luck!

Ordered my 450 around June 22. As of Friday, I was told it is going to be delivered any day now.

My dealer messed up my first order, then re ordered a 22 model on July 13. Was told the car would be delivered early October. And now being told the car hasn't yet been shipped. Just sitting in Alabama and they don't know why. Seems like this is happening for a lot of people. I did see some dealers in my area already have 22 models in stock all with "Please call for Price" stickers.
