Night package and locking lug nut

My wheel lock timeline, showing the supply problems and unpredictable availability:
When I ordered my GLE 53 AMG, March '21 build, with 21" Night Package Wheels, I couldn't order wheel locks (Nov '20).
It came in with all black bolts. I called the parts department to get locking bolts. They couldn't get any at the time (Mar '21).
When they looked up my VIN, it was spec'd for the black wheel locks, part number posted above. Even though I couldn't order them.
They thought the only way I'd get them would be on eBay, which I did. $100.
