Jack up the GLE? Spare Tire? FORGET IT!
I started this new thread on the W167 forum about the difficulties of jacking the GLE, removing the wheel/tire and other options which may be of interest. Here's the link to that thread:

I can relate to this. I had a flat tire on my C300 and it was not fun using the supplied tools of MB. It took me forever to remove and replace the wheel. Then it happened again in my ML in the middle of the highway on the left side and again it took forever to get the thing off. I also scratched the wheel from the removal. Add to it it was 2 degrees somewhat raining and cars passing by makes it more difficult. I told my wife to forget what I showed her how to remove and replace the tires while we were at our driveway as doing it in the road is a complete nightmare and just call me to rescue her. After that experience I decided to have tire puncture kit (the one that you physically plug the hole) and the slime+pump. Then whenever we will drive far away I bring my electric impact gun with the right socket and adaptor for the jack to be able to twist it fast. The idea of having a spare tire right now is a mute point unless you have a full blow-out.
