GLE 450 4MATIC 2022
2022 GLE not purchased from your local dealer

I have a GLE 450 4Matic on order from an MB dealer across the country. If others have done the same, how did your local MB dealer react? Did they service it with the same customer attention given to a car they sold? That 'attention' would include a loaner vehicle when mine is is for service etc. Our local dealer would not accept the MB PLAN discount so I searched the country to find one that would. The car will be shipped to me when it arrives at their dealership.

I wouldn't worry - service is the brand not the dealer. One thing though is above and beyond in most things stems from relationships.

☝️👍
Doesn’t matter where you bought it S/A don’t care they just want your 💴.
Main thing have a good relationship with service guy/gal giving a bottle of wine around the holidays goes a long way.

I tried to find a 2022 on the eastern seaboard that fit what I wanted and couldn't. Guess I'll wait until May and order a 2023

The only difference I came up with was that my local dealer would not give me a loaner car, he would drive me wherever I wanted and/or pick me up. Didn’t like the local dealer very much, price was considerably higher. Bought GLE about 1hour and 20 minutes away, always go there for all my MB needs.

My local service guys treat the car I bought out of town just as well as the car I bought from them - it is one of the reasons I like going there. I would prefer to buy local, but in this new supply-constrained normal, you go where you can to get the car you want.
