Go in my car today and it started fine except the left hand part of the MBUX was blank. I had a message on the RHS screen saying that something was disabled (I think distronic).
Tried turning the RHS on by pressing the radio/media button and MUX started with a press to start message like it always does. 20 Seconds later and I got the message below saying "anti-theft protection primed". None of the LHS MBUX rocks at all. I can't change the driving modes, and lots of the options don't work. 360 camera, Limiter, etc etc. Almost as if the car is showing nothing is working to put off a new buyer.
When I got home I tried turning the car off. Locking the car and then unlocking and it didn't make any difference. I even tried the spare key to no avail.
The alarm hasn't sounded and the car had been at home all day. The nearside rear window was slightly ajar but only by a few mm.
hello i have the same problem now happened - what was the solution to yours !?
There had been a device installed that allowed the watching of videos in motion and this had failed causing issues for the Mercedes system. Once removed it was fine. It was a German unit and not the Naviks solution which is also available.
