When the valves are closed, we limited the air flowing in a specially designed route. It helps the car to stay in a low-key tune, but you can still hear the powerful V8 humming, you can creep in your garage during middle of the night or go out for work in the early morning without letting your neighbors know. The true power of the V8 AMG engine will be heard when the valves are open, it allows the air traveling smoother, unblocked with higher air flow.
