I read that the euro spec tail lights use the amber strip under the red lens for the turn signal. Is it possible to convert the US spec tail lights to use the amber lights?
I'm curious about this as well but haven't got the time to go through the effort finding if there's different part numbers on US vs Euro tail lights, not to mention the coding that needs to be done. I'm wondering if @rjautomotive has some insight on this?

This is exactly what I am looking for. I did a little research and I believe the US spec tail lights are 1679063304 and the Euro are 1679063204. Not sure if they are plug and play though.
