I bought my car from the dealership and it came with the standard burmester sound system but when I try to configure the audio settings I can’t seem to find the “surround sound” option and I don’t see the burmester logo on the MBUX. What does this mean?
Btw it’s a 2019 GLE450
Pretty sure that means you don't have Burmester. There's no standard Burmester sound system for the GLE 450 as far as I can see. The Burmester system is optional. Are your door speakers black or silver? If you have the Burmester system, the door speakers are silver with Burmester logo on them. If they are black, then you have the standard FrontBass system.

The one I got looks exactly the same as this one in the picture. My only problem is that when I go into the audio settings it doesn’t give me the option to enable or disable the surround sound option.
Touch the screen, or adjust the volume, and a Gear will show at the bottom with a line of icons. Hit it and it should get you to your settings.
Good luck.

I have COMAND, so the settings are in different places but this post has some screenshots. The Surround Sound option should be under Sound Profiles.
The problem is that when I go into the audio settings literally nothing mentions “Burmester”.
That sounds like your system is coded wrong. 2019 was before the pandemic and the chip shortage, so I wouldn't expect anything to be missing from this car. As far as I know, there have been several OTA updates for MBUX since 2019 to fix bugs. Has your car received any of them? Probably time for a service visit to have it diagnosed.
It should update on its own, that's the point of OTA (over-the-air) updates. Have you received any map updates since 2019? There have been several ones as well. If you haven't received anything in the last two years (check the update history in the Mercedes me app) then something is definitely on the fritz.
