Lane Keeping Assistance & Adaptive Cruise Control
Hi,
I have purchased a GLE350 2022 for my wife. Due to some communication error, we could not confirm whether the car has a Lane Keeping Assistance & Active Cruise Control. I am now in a fix as she wanted a car with these two systems.
Is there way to add both these? What is the way out... I have approached the dealer.. he said he is helpless.
Can the MB help me to add this to my car?
Kindly throw some light on this issue.

You created the same thread twice and both times in the wrong section, but the short answer is no. Fully retrofitting these after the fact would be rather involved. LKA and Active Steering that goes together with DISTRONIC PLUS are part of the Driver Assistance package. It adds a bunch of additional hardware. For example it replaces the basic single camera above the rearview mirror with a stereo camera that makes LKA etc. possible. You would have to retrofit all that along with new wiring harnesses etc. MB or the dealership pretty much won't touch this. Your best bet is RJ Automotive, which can do some retrofits. They can retrofit a simpler version of DISTRONIC w/o lane assist or active steering and any of the advanced features that DISTRONIC PLUS has. All the hardware and wiring that has to be done for this one is plug&play and they'll do the coding remotely. That's about as good as it gets other than ordering the car with the Driver Assistance package in the first place.

I had Raj (RJ Automotive) add active cruise to our ‘21 GLE. Very straightforward to fit and while doesn’t include the long range radar that is part of the factory pack it does work perfectly fine.
