Where does it plug in? I'd love to see an in vehicle picture if possible
Plugs into the cigarette lighter socket. It is a very neat installation with no wires seen. It fits perfect and looks stock. I will post pictures of how it looks. You can check the video in the Amazon link I sent.
Interesting. Supposed to get mine delivered next week. We'll see how they fit.
Tuxmat came in and installed. Took 5 minutes. I am absolutely happy with what they are and the fit. They are perfect. You can tell they are of great quality and adds protection without compromising on looks and luxury. I have them currently in place and clicked in without Velcro as I will wait a day or two for the mats to naturally contour to the floor. I will then Velcro the parts that need it.
I believe all GLE/GLS should have these. Highly recommended.

New AMG metal buttons came in the mail from eBay today. Super easy to swap out for the Tuxmat eom ones. Simple screws on the back of the Tuxmat plates - come right off. AMG buttons have a metal wing you fold over to hold them on. It's pretty secure - don't see them coming off easily. You could always superglue them if you were concerned. I only ordered 2 buttons at this time, so I have not done the mat in the second row yet. Just the front mats.
Pics: AMG buttons with SKU. Backside of how oem Tuxmat button is held on - 2 screws. AMG and Tuxmat buttons are nearly identical in size. Swap out easily. Fold over metal wings on back of AMG button to make them hold on. Seems very secure to me - will not glue at this time. Don't see a need. Driver mat close up. Driver mat installed. Passenger mat.

VERY NICE!!!
Do you have a link? Any other option besides AMG logo as mine isn't one?
I edited my post with the link to the item/seller I got them from. There may be other styles on ebay - like a plain "Mercedes Benz" script. Just have to search.

Perfect solution to add a nice touch to a nice floor mat!! Well done sir! I’m in
Perhaps Tuxmat would do a group buy… and get more inventory since it appears our activity got them sold out of floor mats. They were in stock a a week ago…

I got the last one last week. Add turned to "currently unavailable" immediately after my purchase. They should do a run with a discount for sure if enough people here place an order.
I really like the tuxmat but it just wouldn’t fit very well. Is there anyone here with a coupe and Tuxmat’s coupe version that fits and sits flush everywhere?
I ended buying factory all-weather instead and they’re fine.
Well I checked with Tuxmat and the GLE mats are on backorder until end of August. I also asked them if they would consider a group buy since it is likely this post drive them out of stock on the GLE. They indicated that they don't do forum discounts...
BTW, designed in Canada but made in China sadly. One would think a fine liberal Canadian company wouldn't be interested in capitalist ideals. Sadly the mistake made by most who have product made in LCR's (low cost regions) is that it really is not cheaper when ALL the factors are weighed and added in but too many American manufacturers have found that out. Complicate it with the supply chain issues and pandemic and BOOM.
GL 320cdi, Chevrolet Avalanchero, GLE 350 (on order)
Canada is not interested in manufacturing. I manufacture a specialized industrial machine, and only the most specialized processes and final assembly is done in Canada. The government is taxing and regulating my industry and the one I manufacture for out of Canada. Governments here are only interested in perpetuating a real-estate bubble dream machine, liberal and conservative.
I give Tuxmat kudos for sticking around as long as they have, many of my friends and competitors have moved south already, Florida and Texas. There is no way with the price of electricity, labour, transportation, taxes and real estate they could afford to make something like that in Canada. My product is priced in the tens of thousands of dollars, and I could never do it all here. There are some tax advantages for small-medium businesses, but they are being rapidly eroded. In my career, Canada has gone from the most business friendly jurisdiction for what I do, to the worst. I'm not exaggerating, either.
If you are a clean freak or just getting tired of little things going in through the vent holes under the front seats or just out right think it just looks ugly unfinished get these vent grille from ebay. Finish looks good and cleans the openings. Only held by 3m double sided tape.

@shotgun_banjo Looks clean. Can you provide a link to the item please? Thanks.
For those who are clean freak, have long nails, likes to touch the screen, and with little children do yourselves a favor and buy yourselves a tempered glass screen protector for the dash. It is one of thing that I was so afraid of touching or wiping since we got our GLE few weeks ago and specifically told the dealer to never take out the plastic film upon delivery or I will not accept the vehicle. Now I can touch it and wipe it as much as I want without worrying of scratching the screen. Perfect fit as well. It came in a sturdy box from China and arrived fast. This is the cheapest one I found on ebay. Some are asking for +$100 for it. Make sure to take your time cleaning the screen before you install this. Close the doors and let the dust settle down. Clean the surrounding area first then clean the dash screen. Wear some latex gloves. If you manage to install this perfectly you can install any screen covering as it will be the biggest screen cover you will ever do.
Is there increased reflection with this screen protector? If so, how bothersome is it?
I don't see any reflection of light because the screen is cranked at a very 90 degree angle and any light that shines on it does not bounce back up towards your eyes. What I noticed is that the colors do show more vs the one that does not have the screen protector maybe because it is much more glossier. I have it on my vehicle for more than 1 year now and zero regrets of having it on the GLE. Best thing is that I don't worry about the screen getting scratched when wiping it down even with a microfiber cloth which is abrasive.
