Hey everyone!
I am building out a GLE 450. I have chosen the upgraded leather so I can have the multi contoured seats. I am trying to decide between the espresso brown interior or just black. The old Mercedes espresso brown was beautiful. I’ve looked online for this interior color and my wood combo, but cannot find any pictures with the grey oak wood, just that lighter wood. So I was just wondering if anyone had this option and how do they like it ? because every picture I find of it the espresso color looks little different. Some pictures of the leather look really light and some look dark. But like I said haven’t found any pictures with the oak grey wood.

If you have the option, go dark. Easier to keep clean. I have dark brown leather in my QX60 (Infiniti calls it Java), and love it. It still looks new and is excellent hiding dirt.

...and while you're at it, get the massage multi contoured seats if you can. I have those in my GLE, and the wife and I love it...use it all the time...multiple massage programs and heat...never use the kinetic feature.

I have espresso brown with the open oak trim. It is nice. On camera it is somehow ligther but it is actually dark. I am getting lots of compliments on the color combo. You can find the pictures in here.....https://mbworld.org/forums/gle-class...cessories.html

Seats are nice, but those mats are f'ing awesome, Tuxmat huh? Never heard of them before. Sorry, temporary thread hijack...those mats look soft and have excellent coverage...what are they made from and what is the texture?

It is the best mats money can buy. Tested on Canadian winter and on active life style, just dont drag a block of wood with nails on it as it will rip. I have it on my R56, GLK, C300 and GLA. It is softer than weathertech's but the coverage is comparable to NONE. Easier to clean as well and it does not go gray over time like weathertech's. It survived my wife's stelleto heels so durable for sure. Look them up. Can be bought in Amazon as well. Third row coverage is also really good. Texture is like synthetic leather like MB text.

Here is how it looks like when not in direct sun light.
