I have a heavy foot, but lately with these gas prices I have been playing a game. See how high I can get my MPG.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Most of this mileage is 90% stop and go city traffic in Fredericksburg VA. This represents my real world combined mileage, and I find this MPG estimate is accurate to a few tenths (0.1 to 0.3 MPG) compared to the pump method.

The 350 loaner that we had for 800 miles, similar driving, was about 1mpg less.
The 53 seems to top out at 24.
