Wireless Adaptors

Should I buy the same kind or a different one so it doesn’t create any type of interference between the two cars? (I don’t think this will be a big problem). But I’m really curious as to know if I pair both our phones to each car, when we get into the car which phone will it pick? Or say I’m using one phone in the car and that phone gets out of the car, will it automatically disconnect and then pick up the next phone.
Is there anyway to make sure these things always connect to one phone over the other first?
Also for anyone using these wireless adaptors, do you have any pictures as to where you’ve mounted it or stored it to get it out of the way?
Thanks for the help

Can't help you with the connection question sorry other than to say I recently changed to a new phone so now two profiles appear on the Carlinkit display as it powers up and it seems to go to the most recently used one. Perhaps a question for the Carlinkit people themselves.

We are Carlinkit Carplay Team. Thank you for your support of our products.
Recently, we have been released new products -- Carlinkit 4.0 (supports both Wireless carplay and Android auto) and T-box mini (support watching Netflix or Youtube on the car screen).
In general, on the automatic selection with two iPhones, it will use the last iPhone the unit was successfully connected to. If you want to be sure which one is selected you have to turn Bluetooth off on the other iPhone before the receiving unit is powered.
If you purchased carlinkit3.0 before, you can choose to buy carlinkit4.0 for your other car. (with some stability and performance optimizations than carlinkit3.0)
We have prepare big discount code "MBF" Only for MBWorld members!

The adapter only tries to connect when the car is powered (otherwise the adapter is off), so if there can't be any interference or fighting to connect between the two adapters unless both cars are on at the same time and next to each other.

@mykel79 As soon as I open a door on my GLE it automatically says connected on my phone within about 1 minute. Sometimes it will even start playing music on my phone without even doing anything else in the car.

But surprisingly my wife’s ‘19 e class does.
