Question for those that did the clear front end wrap with Xpel, how clear is it? Can you see it? Shine? Texture?
Did you go all the way up the hood or the partial?
I have a PPF on my 18 year old BMW. You can see it, it’s a different texture.
Just wondering if it’s visible or invisible?

It's invisible. Can't tell it's there unless I go looking for the edges, but I also did a custom wrap to wrap the edges so the film doesn't stop short of the panels. I did the full front up to the A-pillar, door cups and edges, mirrors and rear bumper. Basically all the high impact areas. The only one I can easily see is the door edges, just because it's only a tiny piece of film. I would not do partial hood. Dirt etc. will collect at the edge of the film, which will make it noticeable and as Murphy's law goes a stone will hit it above the line of film for sure.

Invisible except raw edges can get wax lines. Doesn’t change the color or texture…great warranty. I do the entire front and the installer wraps all edges on the hood.

Absolutely invisible.
Did whole hood not half as you will see the line and worse if you wax. I did whole front of car and rocker panels also. Very pleased so far.
