Gle w167 warranty parts no eta for over 2 months

Hi guys

my gle350d 2021 has been in the workshop for over 2 months for a warranty issue. Brake pedal squeak and pedal issue. master cylinder and servo diagnosed as defective. Servo in stock but master cylinder not

its been over 2 months i keep being told various dates for a parts update but still no eta given. Is there anything i can do? Im still paying my insurance, roadtax and parking permit which is all costly. Ive been given a loaner vehicle which is 5 seater and inconvenient for my family, just been nothing but stress

has anyone been through similar issues? Customer service from mercedes is pathetic and will never be buying a vehicle again from them

any help would be appreciated

the part i am waiting for is a 167 430 11 00

Sorry to hear. Parts availability is inconvenient.

Maybe pathetic customer support is a reason for Mercedes’ decline in unit volume sales in the most recent report.

Sorry you're going through this. I am an active member in rennlist and bimmerpost and the situation is no different there as well. For ex, Porsche folks were stuck waiting months for the car's battery because it happens to be a proprietary "Lithium battery". They finally changed that to AGM in recently delivered Cayennes. So, TLDR; it is the unfortunate reality we live in. Parts shortage across the industry.

As supply chain issues continue to worsen globally, this is going to become more common than not. Your only recourse at this point would be to find out what the lemon laws are in your state.

Since he has a diesel he is not in the US. No idea if other countries have "lemon laws."

I didn't catch that, you are right. On that note...the parts availability could very well be because of his location.
