V167 48V battery issue recall campaign
This just came out yesterday regarding checking the 48V battery cable which may have been under-torqued at the factory.. Probably not the cause of some of the failures that have been cited IMO. Recall letters will be sent 6/24. Only 3% of vehicles covered are estimated to have an issue.

There was a similar issue a couple of years ago, with a fuse block in the right A pillar.
It turned out to be a new set of screw guns that they had just installed on the line, that were under torquing. So, when they fixed that, they could identify exactly which cars went down the line and were torqued by those guns.
Sounds similar if they are claiming approximately 3%.

Interesting, I received two letters last week, this one and one for the “Camera Freezing” when the vehicle is put into reverse… Both letters said “No Remedy Exists At This Time”… I called my dealer to confirm that no remedy exists and they affirmed it, but yet your documentation states otherwise… I just don’t get the confusion..
