Removing Accident Report on Autocheck and CARFAX
Hello Guys,
Sometime 6 months back I had an Incident on a Highway where a lady accidentally came into my lane and hit me on the rear end of the driver side but it was nothing serious.I had to initially call the cops to get report in case of any Damage not seen during the night of the incident.I only opened case with the GEICO and never claimed any money for the repair.
Yesterday when CARMAX pulled my Auto Report for sale they informed me that there is a accident reported that shows up.Is there anyway to get the incident removed from the report since there is no damage or any claims that are paid ?

Once you called the cops in, there's nothing you can do now. The best you can do is to get a copy of the police report and the paint meter reading of all the panels showing nothing got resprayed.

accidents are also registered there when serious, on that report it will show none
