The cover is totally fine, and although it’s a mesh-like material, does a great job keeping the sun out even at midday.

I will def order the pano again. Also had this on my prev vehicle. Love all that light come inside the cabin when I choose to.

Cheers,
I hope mine "breaks in", I have 4k miles on it, swear it didn't make a noise new then started creaking a lot in the last 1000 miles. A little embarrassing my mom's 5k mile Mazda CX-5 is solid and quiet. No one complains and my wife doesn't notice so it might be a me thing.

So I bit the bullet and went for tinting the windshield.
Went with 50% and could not be happier. The difference in the cabin is amazing. It looks shaded and there's a sense of enhanced privacy. It is not so dark so as to limit the outward vision and at night I can see just as if I hadn't any tint at all. Glare and reflection from the ambient lights is no more than without it. Front cameras and electronics all work without any issues. From the outside it looks awesome as you can only see a silhouette of the interior.

Current setup:

- Rear windows: 25% factory
- Front windows: 30% ceramic
- Panorama roof: 15% ceramic
- Windshield: 50% ceramic

Wow, that's great! Do you have a HUD and if so, is the view impacted?

No HUD. I can't say for that.

I got my fronts tinted with Llumar Air 80. It’s awesome. Huge difference in heat rejection and it has a slight blue hue to it but still clear and unnoticeable.

I put 80% ceramic on the windshield of my ML. Positives: it cut heat and glare a LOT, while maintaining perfect visibility; and it also reduced wind noise a noticeable amount on the highway. Negatives: most states it is illegal to pu ANYTHING on the windshield, if you wear polarized sunglasses most of the sky is a funny rainbow color that sort of throws you off at first. For the $100 or whatever it costs, I'd do it again... totally worth it if you live somewhere REALLY hot and/or sunny. Helps the A/C, quietens the cabin, and only professional tinters can tell you've tinted it.
