This is going to be my first post on this site, just a quick little history I have a 2017 GLE 350 4 matic.
I found a dealer that has a GLE 580 allocation and I'm trying to order from them. My problem is the options, they tell me there are options that the car can't be ordered without but it doesn't appear that way to me when I look at the DOG and online configurator. I want

I have yet to see a GLE 580 on the road. I totally forgot there is a GLE 580! Since getting my GLE 53, not too long ago, seeing another 53 was like seeing a unicorn... Aka rare to see one (Long Island/Queens). Now I'm seeing a few here and there but now the 580 is the ultra unicorn.
Since we got the 580, now every GLE we see my wife's like look - its another 580! I'm always like meh, bet you it's not. Sure enough we drive around back and nope. I'm with you, I've never seen a 53 or 580 driving around.

You can get badges online. Ebay has tons of sellers that have them.
Ah. So it's a DIY. Going to have to find YouTube vids on how to R&R (remove and replace) so I won't end up damaging the original badges and paint. Thanks!
I was a little hesitant on replacing the OEM badges with eBay badges but the ones I got are pretty legit. They're the same size, font and actually probably a bit better quality than OEM. Took a total of an hour to replace all. I used some Stoner Car Care Tar Removal and it took the old double sided tape right off with no issues and I marked where the OEM badges were with painters tape so the placement was exact.
Here's the guy I purchased the badges off of on eBay. He sells them in gloss black and matte. I went with the gloss black since mine has the black exterior accents (that are gloss).
Meh, the 580 has a biturbo V8 as the badges say - not sure how that screams AMG. I avoided any AMG badging as its not an AMG. Plus, I bet only AMG fanboys know those fender badges only come on AMG models. Everyone's got an opinion though and I respect that!
