2020 GLE 350 tire/wheel fitment

Have a 2020 GLE 350 4MATIC. 255/50/19 stock tires 8" rim. Offset ET61. Bolt Pattern 5x112. Center Bore 66.6 mm. According to tire and wheel fitment calculators, I would be fine going with Ferrada FR4 Black Machined with Chrome Lip 11.5" on 325/35/20 tires. Please let me know if anyone has gotten this before. Or if anyone can advise me on this. I am not sure if this fitment is correct. Would like to know before I make purchase.

Are you suggesting 325 tires for the front as well as rear? Not only will those not fit without a ridiculous offset, but not advisable due to hydroplaning and tramlining issues. Stock 20" tires are 275/50 on 9" wide max wheels. A better guide would be to look at the 21" and 22" OEM specs and adapt from there, keeping widths and offsets close. In no case would I suggest going wider than 285 in front. You are not going to achieve a square setup as wide as you are looking at. If you are buying from a reputable wheel supplier they may offer some guidance; when pushing limits it's dangerous to just order off the internet.

Not suggesting just want advise. Clearly I don't know much of what will be the correct fitment. I appreciate any info I can gather. So, I can do 285/40/20 tires in front. What size max rim? Can I still do the 325/35/20 with 11.5" on rear? I only want to plus size from 19" to 20". Don't want to compromise anything technical, handling or ride quality. Also, Offset on stock is ET61, would you know what offset I should be looking for? Would the Ferrada FR4 wheels be a good fit or should I look for something different? I like the Concave look a lot. Sorry I am just throwing all these questions. Have a lot to learn about tires and rims. Thank you all for any advise and commendations.

I did not see that Ferrada offers the kind of width and offset choices you need. The offset will depend on wheel width. The 61mm offset is only for the 8" rim. If you look at the chart I posted 10" wheels in the front are spec'd with a 54-56 offset and 11" in the rear with 49-50 offset (the lower the number the more the wheel is pushed out). You are in over your head and need to seek professional advise, not just forum input, unless someone can chime in with a fitment they used for you to consider.

I don't know anything about them but this forum advertiser might be able to give you some guidance: https://mbworld.org/forums/gle-class...ml#post8580818. You need someone familiar with this vehicle, though.

Has anyone installed oversized tire on stock 19 inch? thinking about ditching run flats 19s for 255/60 michelin defenders. Someone in this group praised 19 inch rims with defender tire as the best ride for GLE. if you have, did you have to calibrate the speedo? Any regrets/problems?

I have no direct experience, but those should certainly work giving you an OD close to the larger wheels specs. Regarding speedometer calibration, I wonder if there anything in the service menu that allows that, or if any coding guru come up with a method?
