Check Engine Code P02FF, What Is It?

Hi y'all. I recently had MB pick up my GLE to have some warranty work done to it, including but not limited to the pre-safe randomly going off, whistle coming from driver's side mirror, and MBUX system taking a while to activate navigation. I got my car back last week after it sat at the dealership for 1.5 weeks. After making one short trip, the check engine light came on and the check engine code was P02FF. The same code came up 3 times saying "Propulsion System INactive Timer Performance". Also when I press the start/stop button to turn the car on (but not fully start it), it would say Mercedes Me Connect Services Limited. Also I noticed when I turn the car on the active brake assist says it is off until I buckle my seat belt, then the ABA icon saying it is off goes away.

Anyone have these strange issues happen to their GLE? I have the dealership picking the car up on Thursday, but I want to have some advice and insight on this issue. Thanks in advance. Photos attached below for reference (please ignore the dusty screen).

On a side note, the check engine light went away after the car sat for 3 days while I was out of town, but the ABA off icon keeps staying on until I buckle my seat belt. I am afraid to try to unbuckle my seatbelt while driving because I feel like it will cause it to do more weird stuff.

I don’t know anyone who has the issues mentioned, other than the whistling at the mirror which is an easy fix. It sounds like it may be a software issue or a lose connection. Let us know how these issues get resolved.

When the dealership had my GLE they did a lot of software updates, it is possible one or more of the updates did not install correctly. For the whistling mirror, the dealership replaced the mirror housing and it does not whistle anymore 🙌🏼

I will update once they pick up my car tomorrow let me know what is up with it.

Update:

I got my GLE back, they did not really have an answer for the check engine light. From the service papers it says that they did some software updates and did "program and code control unit" three times. Not sure what that means.

They did not have a fix for it because the check engine light went away after the car was sitting for a few days. When they got it back they said they checked the codes and nothing came up and they did not seem to know what the code meant when I showed them the OBD code reader with the code on it.

Hi - just wondering if this issue came up for anyone else and what was the issue/fix? I just got the P02FF code in my 2021 GLB 250.

I just picked up the car from service, and they said they did a software update. But I received the same error code today. You mentioned it disappeared after a couple of days, did it come back after that? Also, I noticed the 'From Start' consumption data in the instrument cluster didn’t reset. It’s still showing data from a couple of days ago.

I'm sorry I don't remember. It's been a while since this happened.

Responding to the thread above:

I have a GLE350 4Matic. Did anyone fix the issue with a new battery after getting the P02FF code? They ran diagnostics from the service department and it said there was a miscommunication with the battery. I have an appointment next week but if it is a quick fix I would rather do it myself.
