2022 GLE 450 (Black on Black)
AC Issue with 2022 GLE 450

Taking our 2022 GLE450 (9,200 miles) to dealer this week to determine intermittent cause for AC issue: not blowing any air, then hot air comes out after a few minutes. Finally, re-start engine and cold air begins to start but very slowly. A bit strange set of circumstances. Will see.

2023 GLE450, 2021 E350 / Used to drive: 2019 E300, 2021 + 2020 GLE350, 2019 E450 Wagon(s), 2017 E300
Used to happen all the time with my 2020 GLE350 - always assumed it was a blend door issue, because after a restart it blew ice cold. Hope they find it quickly in your case, mine still had the issue intermittently when I traded it.

There are similar posts…as I recall it’s might be a bad sensor in the roof area. You might try a search it’s been months or maybe a year since I last saw it.

Warm AC is one symptom of a bad 48V system. See item 3 in the list of complaints found in the attached bulletin.. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...06063-0001.pdf. The only caveat is that 48V failures tend to be much more symptomatic with more obvious warning signs and failures.

The AC in our cars isn’t belt driven but fully electric off of the 48V mild-hybrid system.
