Another rattle

I’ve developed another rattle/creak in what is turning out to be a gigantic rattle trap of a car. It sounds like it’s coming from the MBUX screen, either the bezel or maybe the screen itself. It could also be the driver’s vent. I get the same noise if I manually press the screen and vent. It tends to happen over bumps or body flexes.

Anyone else have a rattle in the same area?

Nope, but I can’t rest my arm on the door at the window level or I will go insane with the squeaking. My family calls it the Covid car!
Good luck.

I know every manufacturer has rattles, but I’ve owned new BMWs, Audis, Lexus and now MBs, and this car has more rattles than all of my previous three cars combined. It’s really disappointing. And, go figure, I actually—against my better judgement—bought this versus leasing, whereas my previous three were all rattle-free leases lol. I pin these rattles 100% on crappy build quality at the factory.

It's because you bought it, why did you screw the rest of us over by buying? We'd all have ratlle-free cars otherwise!

No rattles on my car yet, <5k miles but I do get creaks from the doors when chassis flexes.

I have had three rattles. One from the driver's door, another from the center console, and one from the steering column. 20,000 miles - not babied at all, and I'm pleased.

The Dealer replaced a cable clip in the steering column. I fixed one by repositioning my drink bottle, and the other by padding my tire gauge.

I think the chassis rigidity in the 167 models is commendable, compared to other brands and especially the 166's. I expect this to lead to fewer squeaks and rattles down the road.

Hey!
my GLE53 just starting doing what you are describing. Did you ever find out what was causing this rattle?
