front camera view

Can someone post a picture of how your front camera shows the image in your screen on WIDE view settings? Does the star housing on the MB emblem showing on the upper right corner? also while you are it post a shot of the screen on regular view. I think my front camera needs recalibration as they touched it when they repaired my vehicle but I need to have a picture of a properly calibrated camera from the factory before I bring my vehicle back to the shop so they won't just say "that is normal". Thanks!

Quick question, what are the buttons on the surround view camera on each side and the rear? My GLE does not have those buttons when the 360 camera is on.

I believe that it means those views aren't available, as the side doors and hatch are open. If they are closed, you don't see those icons.

Those are not buttons, but just showing the view coverage of the side and rear cameras.

Thanks Greg! Mine is definitely not right. One other thing.....why does your front camera does not show trajectory lines like the one for the rear camera? Mine has it.

Mine also does not have those icons on the top view. Also I noticed you have dashed lines on those 3 views. I don't see those on mine as well.

Not to hijack OP's thread but something very weird happened to me the other day. My wife was driving for a change and the car was parked. As she was adjusting stuff, the front camera view turned on the screen.
I have no idea what she pressed, but it was not the bumper camera feed (which is what you usually get) but the rearview mirror camera. Anyone else experience this before?

It's because the car was not in gear.

On the left side of the trackpad, if you hold down the button that has a picture of a car (middle button I believe) it will turn on the camera. Another possibility is the parking sensors activated when it thought something was in close proximity even when there is nothing there. Mine does that quite often.

Yes but that never uses the upper (windshield) camera, always the lower (license plate) camera. I haven't been able to replicate it.

You said your wife was parked? Parked where? I'm wondering if the system glitched and somehow thought she was at an intersection. The augmented video camera can show a view of the intersection and traffic lights, but I wouldn't expect it to activate while parked.

In our parking spot which is facing a white wall. It happened after she started the car in the morning. Yes, it was the intersection view camera angle (I have that turned off normally).
