Extended Warranty for 2023 GLE350
Soon to get my 2023 GLE350 4 matic and need some advise. I searched many threads in this forum, still looking for some more advise about Extended Warranty, Prepaid maintenance and tire warranty. Dealer is NJ is quoting these prices
7 years/75 - 2650
2 services $1310
3 services $1800
4 services $2470
Tire/Wheel - 5 Years - $1995PPM
2 services $1310
3 services $1800
4 services $2470
When I had a quick conversation with Service Advisor, I was told Service A is in the range of $400 and Service B in the range of $800. Pre paid maintenance would be a bargain now because of increase in parts price increase and service cost increases.
Any suggestions on this please. my build has 21 inch Wheels. Is the tire and wheel warranty package of $1995 reasonable. Can anyone share if someone took it recently.

7yr extended warranty you could save couple of hundred bucks if you shop around with other dealers. But not that bad for the price you got quoted. In SoCal Service A paid $250 and Service B $575. Local dealers have coupons going on all the time. Prepaid maintenance package definitely not worth it.

No sorry didn’t purchase those. But it depends if you have 19 or 20 inch tires not much to worry I have 20 inch driving around LA many pot holes but luckily nothing bad so far but if you live in a city with many pot holes and you’ve had previous damages to your other cars might be something for you to look at. But personally not worth it.

I've never seen a broken Mercedes wheel, except in the dealership Tire and Wheel sales display.
I'm sure it happens, but a pothole big enough to destroy a wheel would likely cause some expensive damage, and you'd be calling your insurance company, anyway.
However I have seen plenty of curb rash. I think the policy only repairs the rash instead of replacing, but I would check.
You can usually get the same repair done for $150 to $200.
