Online map update error, from mercedes me website
Anyone else have this error?

My maps are up-to-date, but it's coming up fine for me, at least in Chrome on my desktop. I've never tried to bring it up on a phone. Since it downloads files in conjunction with a download manager that you have to install it's not designed to work on a phone. Have you tried from a desktop browser?

I can not open same error on desktop.

I just wait and try again. Sometimes it's immediate snd sometimes it takes a few days.
Mercedes' website isn't their "Best" effort by any means.

Update, after two week with Mercedes Me, still having issue.
from Mercedes Me they still investigating.

The files can't be shared. They are locked and licensed to the VIN they were downloaded for. Folks who own two cars even have to download them for each car separately. Your home region should get updated over-the-air, though in the meantime, even w/o a working website. It takes a while and I usually do the manual update as it's faster, but you should see it in the Mercedes me connect app under "Over-the-Air Vehicle Updates".

So you never got any OTA map updates? Are the communication module updates the only once your car ever got? Are you the first owner and what year is your car?

It is kinda interesting, though. Based on your service expiration they were originally activated in June 2020 (3 year complimentary). Was this an early 2021 build?

1. i was at the dealer 2 weeks ago, with all recall and MBUX update, all done.
Also worth going back to the sales person that transferred the services to you and have them double check that they did it right. ,, i will check on this .
Was this an early 2021 build? ,,, not sure .

so update on the issue :This error is caused by the fact that the vehicle Head Unit is not communicating with the backend. There is an issue with the head unit.
Please make sure that in the head unit settings the WiFi/WLAN option is enabled (Settings - System - WiFi and Bluetooth - WiFi/WLAN needs to be ON).
If that does not solve the issue, please send the customer to a service visit and advise the technician to reset the internet certificate of the head unit and take the head unit again into operation.
If this still does not solve the issue please advise the workshop to create a TIPS case with a control unit logfile of the TCU (HERMES) and of the Head unit as well.

Did you confirm that the says it's offline and that none of the online services such as live traffic etc. are working? not sure how to check if offline or live traffic,, i do not use Nav much , but wifey do.
will update once in dealer , that is in 8may.
