Okay nevermind that might had explained it, winter tires are meant to help you stop for example so the rolling resistance is stronger than summer tires or even all seasons.

the trans takes a while to adapt just like any new car. Trans flush every 60k miles. Oil change every 5k miles.

Plus the 450 has the eq boost thing that takes energy from coasting to charge the battery.
GLE's weigh about 5,200#. You're looking at the GVWR, max loaded weight.

Attaching a video, who owns a GLE v167 350 4matik, can you tell me if this is normal or not? And in what direction to dig?
Looks normal if you are on C or S mode. If you don't have the 450 you won't get the coast mode which puts the transmission to neutral then kills the engine and it just glides. The gliding feature is very effective and loses speed very slowly. When I use this feature in the highway I sometimes get +32mpg on the GLE 450.

Try this...next time you are in the freeway and there are no other cars behind you put the car to neutral and see if it will slow down the same way.

GLE 350
I put it in neutral yesterday, it slows down just like in eco mode and without it. No difference at all. Probably a small engine problem

It doesn't look like there's any problem at all. You've just proven it.

I second that...

OP, nothing to worry about and the effect is also stronger with winter tires like you confirmed.
