The profile is difficult to use in MBUX

My wife and I set up our own profiles in the MBUX system. However, we noticed that these profiles were not linked to the car key. As a result, every time either of us gets into the car, we have to manually select our respective profiles on the screen in order to adjust the settings.

In contrast, with our Acura MDX, the profiles are linked to the key. This means that the car automatically selects the appropriate profile based on the key used.
Is there any way that I could let my Mercedes automatically select the profile?

MB doesn't work that way, which is a good thing for me. My Audi would set a profile when getting near the car and if my wife and I had a key, it was a crapshoot to see which profile was selected

I can't set up a profile for my wife. I follow the on screen instructions to add a user and it says there is already a corporate profile in use. I go to my account at MercedesMe and it shows no corporate profile and only one personal profile (mine). Tried to setup a MercedesMe account for my wife and I got sent to the German website. I wonder if Mercedes uses the same software vendor as my old employer, Southwest Airlines.

😃😃😃
I've given up.
I now have two of me, each with a different photo I uploaded. A result of calls to MB. The first one thinks I'm 4'3" and I have to bail before I can regain control of the pilot house.

The second one is my Wife's but it thinks the profile is already in use.

The third one doesn't have the MB logo, but it works. I use that one, but avert my eyes during startup so I'm not tempted to use the "Official" one.

Problem solved. Kind of.
