One button touch or holding button to open/close panoramic roof shade?
In my GLE, i will have to hold the button to open or close the panoramic roof shade. The shade stops opening/closing immediately once I release the button.
But when I watched a youtube video, the shade opened/closed automatically by pushing the button once in that guys' GLE.

You may have lost the AUTO programming. Usually happens when battery is disconnected for a long period. Usually you would hold the button for a few seconds after retracting so that it programs again. This works on the windows but no sure on the sunroof/shade. Worth a try.
The complete process involves the above, then releasing, then hold the button for another two seconds.
Then move the window or sunroof fully in the other direction, hold, release, re-hold for two seconds. I do one more sequence, and that "synchronizes" the window / sunroof.
IDK if it works on a Pano shade, but try it.
