GLE 450 possible shortage
Out of nowhere I get an email from MB that they want to buy back our vehicle. Weird to see MB contacting their customers to rebuy the vehicle for resale. Contacted a salesperson I dealt with on another dealership and he confirmed the 450s are getting harder to get. Is it the same situation down in the US or just a Canadian thing? Also when I look at available used GLE450 they are still on the $90-100k range and the mileage is around 20-30k. Mine has not even clocked 10k yet.

I am not aware of any shortages in the Pacific Northwest. I picked up a GLE 450 last week that literally came off the truck the day before. I know for a fact that several others were available in both Washington and Oregon.

Its called marketing. Its a simple auto generated ad. Your car can be 1 week old to you and you can get a notice saying its time to trade it in they need cars JUST LIKE YOURS in their inventory. Nothing new. Enjoy your 450.

Yep. I have a 350 that I've owned for 1.5 years and have received about 4 of these notices.

My wife’s 2018 Audi SQ 5 was in for Service 6 months ago, low miles and pristine condition. We are getting these at least once a month accompanied by approximate trade value and a new one with a couple of discounts. We got offers every 3 months or so before but now that new inventory is building they are becoming a nuisance.
