Power loss when lane assist becomes inoperative on 2020 GLE 350

Recently while traveling at 70 mph lane assist is inoperative , blind spot is inoperative and brake assist is limited warnings came on but engine lost power and we had to coast(across four lanes) to a safe stopping area-cut the engine-restarted and all was good until about 20 minutes down the road and the same scenario happed and also 2 more times after that-very dangerous while on busy highways-MB dealer is saying diagnostic shows nothing irregular -anyone else having this problem ?

Did you by any chance get the hands on the wheel warning too? Isn't this what is supposed to happen if you ignore the warnings to keep your hands on the wheel while using lane assist?

Good question. If not, it is indeed concerning.

Though this was on your GLE, the same thing happened recently on my daughter's 2020 GLC. Warnings and limp mode activation. A simple restart of the car fixed it (temporarily) - but it happened again (randomly). Fortunately, she was never on the highway.

For her it turned out that the accelerator pedal module had gone bad and needed to be replaced (took 2 trips to the dealer to resolve it!)

Again...not sure that this is your problem (especially since it is your GLE), but thought I'd mention the coincidence.
