New to the group, GLE 580 & 20 inch wheel question
Good afternoon everyone,
thrilled with my recent acquisition, a 2023 GLE 580 coming from a 2016 Lexus F sport hybrid outside of the gas mileage. . Question: Living in Florida, the roads have a high content of Coral and shells; subsequently will eat tires, and at $650 a pop for replacement of the 22", it is ugly. I was able to find a set of 20-inch AMG twin 5-spoke w/black accents on FB marketplace for 1K with Runflats (yuck). I'm not sure they will fit as the current 22" Offset is different on the fronts from the rears (don't know for sure), On the 20-inch wheels the offset is uniform at 44mm.
20" BRIDGESTONE ALENZA AS ULTRA with a UTQG of 800 only costs 285.00 each
Do you think they will fit? I see them as an option on the 450 and 53 since I can't do a build of the 580 on mbusa
Thank in advance

Someone else can explain the offsets, and the spacers needed.
But I'll comment on the 800 UTQG wear index:
Not enough grip!
Every time you try to enter a gap in traffic, you'll light up all the tires! In Comfort mode!!

Diameter and offset aren't sufficient info to draw any conclusions - you'll need to factor in the width of the wheels as well. Once you have all the critical specs, you can use an online wheel calculator to see how the change will affect suspension clearance and "poke". With tire sizes plugged in, you can also determine the effect on speedometer accuracy. Below is a link to one of many such calculators.

You would want to know the width of the wheels and plug all the figures into a calculator (https://www.willtheyfit.com/) to see how they will fit with the tires you want
