2023 GLE 450 & Oil Type
I'm close to doing a break in oil change around 3k and I could use a second opinion on the oil type and viscosity for California. I'm leaning towards 0w-30.
Mobile 1 ESP 0w-20 229.71
Mobile 1 ESP 5w-30 229.51 & 52
Per this MB website, they say 0w-30; however, it's not vehicle specific.

Hi, I like to do the same thing. My Mercedes mechanic told me no, lololo. He claims the clean oil break in thing is not necessary. We agreed to compromise and do it at 6k. Only use the recommended oil whichever your authorized mechanic agrees is correct.

For my GLE 450 I use Pennzoil Platinum Euro LX 0W-30. It is also made in Germany-unlike the other Platinum oils.
