Airmatic - One last GLE 450e question

I'm about to pull the trigger and replace my 2019 GLE 350 4matic.

I only saw it mentioned in one review, but that reviewer said that with the extra battery weight, Airmatic was needed to get a good ride.

Any opinions? any driven both with and without that could contrast them?

thanks

I will always have AIRMATIC, now that I've enjoyed it on my last 3 vehicles. The ride is incredibly settled, thanks to the Adaptive Damping System (ADS), which is automatically included with AIRMATIC on the 167s.

Here's a video from several years ago, which is still relevant:

Hope that helps!

I had the previous GLE 550e without air suspension. The ride was very harsh. I would recommend the air suspension. Especially if you intend on ordering larger size wheels. I have been very happy with the air suspension on my GLE 450. BMW makes the air suspension standard on the X5 50e.
