2024 GLE 450e closing by itself
"I just arrived home after picking up my wife from the airport. While unloading our luggage from the car, I took out the first luggage and the trunk started closing by itself. However, as soon as I opened the trunk again to take out the second luggage, it started closing again. I was standing underneath the trunk door when it started closing and it didn't stop. Luckily, I noticed it in time and was able to move out of the way." Does anyone else have this issue with the GLE 450e?

I wonder if you may have inadvertently activated the hands-free kick to open/close the trunk door.

People complained about MB's truck open sensors not sensitive enough, I wonder if they dialed it too much?
