New GLE 350 2024 issues

Just got a brand new GLE 2024 and within a couple of days had the first issue with a splash guard coming off. Very next day Blind spot assist, lane keeping assist and all the systems became inoperative. Car is in service to get it fixed with probably a “sensor” issue. Anyone faced similar problems? Any advice on next steps?

Don't be too discouraged, these days with all of the electronics involved there is a higher chance for hiccups. Hopefully once everything is properly re-fitted you wont have any further issues or glitches. I would recommend sending in oil samples to blackstone or other labs whenever you do drop off for service to monitor any unseen issues within the engine. You can request kits from the labs and request the tech retrieve some oil. I had an e63 with the M156 engine, and oil analysis picked up on intake manifold issues before any codes or noticeable driving issues popped up.

Well said. People need to understand that when you purchase a car crammed with tech, there is a potential for gremlins from time to time. Sensors will malfunction, small issues will arise but if your dealer is on the ball, these are easily resolved and you will be back enjoying your high tech machine in no time. My 2020 450 had a few sensor related issues, had the camera fogging issue but all these were resolved within the first few weeks of ownership and I enjoyed 3.5 years of perfect trouble free service thereafter. My new 63s has been perfect after 3 months so I'm encouraged this trend will continue.
