2024 GLE owners with 19" wheels - what factory tires were put on?
For those 2024 GLE owners with 19" wheels, I'm curious to know what tires the factory put on your car. Why? Read on.
We recently took delivery of a 2024 GLE450 with 19" wheels. The factory put Michelin "CrossClimate SUV" tires on it. Size 275/55/19. The tires are stamped "MO", so they are Mercedes Original Equipment tires.
Here's why I'm curious.....Tire Rack's description of the CrossClimate says: "The CrossClimate SUV is Michelin's Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season tire originally developed for Original Equipment use on the Mercedes-Benz GLE and GLS (non-US market)." (bold added for emphasis)
Non-US market? Did the factory mess up and put "non-US market" tires on the car? Or is Tire Rack's site incorrect?
The CrossClimate is a highly rated tire and we're OK with the tire choice. Just wondering what other owners have on their cars.

Maybe GLS for non US markets. But GLE would be fine for US. However, I don't think there's much to concern. Mercedes Original tires will work great.
For reference, my GLE 450 21" wheel got Perelli Scorpion Zero all seasons.

MY2024 GLE 450
We discussed it in some earlier treads and somebody pointed out that MB USA started putting 275/55R19 tires on GLEs while all online MB systems still list 255/50R19. So, it's possible that they now standardized on 275/55/R19 across the board.

2025 GLE450
DOG says 255/50R19. Only 19" wheels/tires listed. I just took delivery of a 2025 GLE450 with 19" tires, but haven't checked the size yet.

1) Calibration of the speedometer is now easy as revolutions per mile is essentially the same. Likely no need for wheel / tire size adjustment
2) Give 19'' setup taller sidewall, previously it was shorter than 20'', which made little sense
3) Now, 19'' combo better fills the wheel well, so the look the improved too

I don't know the exact reasons but it's certainly a welcome change. Wheel + tire combo height and circumference are now within a margin of error ( < 1 %) across all offerings (19-22''). What it accomplishes:
1) Calibration of the speedometer is now easy as revolutions per mile is essentially the same. Likely no need for wheel / tire size adjustment
2) Give 19'' setup taller sidewall, previously it was shorter than 20'', which made little sense
3) Now, 19'' combo better fills the wheel well, so the look the improved too

Presently 19 S560 SEDAN, 2014 XK, SOLD GLE 450e
Bridgestone tires on a 2024 GLE 450e. Size 275/55/19. The GLE 450e should have come with run flat tires like mine in the USA. No room for a spare tire because that is where the 23.3 kwh battery is.
No need for speed ometer error since the '19" tires are the standard tire/wheel assy. Any thing over that is a noisy 20 plus inch wheel tire assy Uggggh. Not for traveling any meaningful distance.
My second GLE450E this year. Sold the first one to my neighbor. Travels over 50 milies on a 100% charge but closer to 60 than 50 on the I-30 b/t Dallas and west Ft Worth...there and almost all the way back on elect only.
My bad response to the original poster. I was mistaken thinking you were talking about the plug in GLE450e.

Tirefit is a tire repair kit. Mercedes MOE is not exactly run-flat, it's a bit softer but has lower speed limit for driving on a punctured tire.
