good afternoon team....

owner of a 2024 gle 63s coupe

color coding needed to wire a 3rd brake light to a diffuser...
(i see a fuse box in the cargo area... as well as the brake light in the tail gate)


has anyone wired a 3rd brake light to the rear of the coupe? Larte bumper has lights but im not sure how to get it set to light when brake is applied. thanks in advance #amgteam

planning to ground the neg to the exposed bolt near fuse box
POS wire color needed to connect....does anyone have the diagram for the roof / tailgate taillight. this seems the most accessible simply but cutting the rubber to expose wires...tap it and continue running a wire up the weatherstrip in tailgate...

Once you find the correct place, I'd suggest looking at these connectors. I found them to be really secure and not disturb out factory wiring much. So much better than a Scotch lock.

And the Posi-taps are sealed against moisture intrusion when installed properly. The cheap crimp splices like those supplied with trailer light kits will eventually corrode and fail.
