Mercedes Me

Anyone else having an issue with MB now requiring that you purchase full package each year for Mercedes Me? Previously you could purchase only the options you needed now you pay $150 for all. I paid $35 last year for remote start only. Not going to pay $150 for it. Even if I wanted more of the options only 17/28 are available on my vehicle. I get it that it is likely much easier for them to maintain but the lack of customer service when I questioned was amazing. I was told flat out that is the new policy. Don't know why they changed but nothing I can do - anything else I can help you with? I've never had that type of attitude at the local dealership with any issue I've encountered. This is a small thing overall but is indicative of a shift away from customer service. I would expect at least an explanation or a level of empathy versus the have a nice day. Thanks

agree, if they changed the a la carte structure, won't be renewing my subscription either. $150 is quite a bit for me for the one feature I use. to enhance navigation. I won't do it.

If you only subscribed to one or two services before, then yes, the new policy is more expensive. For me it's cheaper now. I subscribed to most services except for remote start, because I never use it. With the a-la-care option that was over $200. Now I got remote start thrown in and its cheaper than what I paid w/o it before. There are two sides to every coin. MB was pretty much alone with offering this stuff a-la-carte. I was gonna say it's pretty cheap compared to their competitors such as Audi. Audi used to charge like $350 for 6 month, but I'm seeing now they dropped their price to $150 for a year. Wonder how they decided on the new price .
