Interior Assistant
Hello,
I would like to experience the Interior Assistant feature in my car, such as searching light and gesture commands. Unfortunately, I don't have the Interior Assistant option installed.
Is it possible to add the Interior Assistant kit and software option to the Mercedes GLE 53 AMG 2021 post-sales?
Note: I don’t consider the dealership for this job as its aftermarket car

Yes. You'd need to buy the overhead control panel part, and I was also told by @rjautomotive that some wiring would be needed as well:
You will need to run a canbus twisted pair wire to approx above the driver pedals, and run 12v and gnd as usual.

The Interior assistant is a weird option. It works reliably once you figure out how to use it. At the same time, it's unfortunate that it only supports one gesture per seat - one for the driver and one for the front passenger. So, it kinda useful but could be way better if it could recognize 2-3 gestures.
