Aftermarket Brake Pads - EBC, Brembo

My GLE 450 will need brake pads replacement soon. The rotors look OK.

I use EBC Brakes pads (RedStuff Low dust ceramic) in my Audi and they work great.

For the GLE, EBC has released the YellowStuff pads (not as low dust as the RedStuff but less dust than OEM). Has anyone tried these EBC pads?

I've also seen a couple of Brembo options. Any experience with them? Any other brand I should look into?

Thanks

Rule of Thumb:. Do NOT mix Brake pad material with OEM disc. if you get the different brand Brake pad, Change the to the matching Rotor Disc that complement the Pad materials.

I get your point, but the material of most rotors (OEM or aftermarket) should be similar, some alloy of carbon iron casting.

It would be very different f the car was equipped with ceramic rotors.

Also true.

I'm actually surprised at the lack of heavy brake dust on my 2021 AMG 53 with the big red brake kit.
