Bridgestone Alenza Run Flat Frustration!
We had to replace the rear tires at 7k (dealer comped), now at 9k we need to replace the fronts. Unfortunately, the 2024 has staggered wheels, but all tires are the same size, we can’t rotate. We need the run flats because we do quite a bit of driving in rural areas. I have read through the posts and it seems most are getting at least 20k out of their tires. We have a 3rd row, 350, no AMG, no aggressive driving. I am frustrated with these tires!!! Is it just the Bridgestones? We were not given a choice, they are what came with the car. We have also had 4 plugs done on these, our other car is a 2015 Volvo SUV and we have only had one plug done. Should I just switch all the tires and hope for the best or yell at the dealership again and try to get the fronts comped too? I would be happy to get 20k out of tires, the tire guy also said it could be the alignment. I had it done at the dealership when they replaced the back tires, it drives straight. The only other issue could be a suspension issue? Not sure, but MB says nothing is wrong. I am not sure what to do, I love the car, but don’t want to replace tires every 7-9k miles.
