Entry/Exit feature

Is there any way to adjust the position the seat goes to when you enable the Entry/Exit feature?

I would upvote this.

When my wife exits, it goes back, but I wish it would go back further for when I drive next.

When I drive, it basically just moves the steering wheel and puts the seat back up.

For reference, my wife is 5’3” and I am 6’0”

Also, we were having some issues with it not working when she exited once in a while. I would have to use a shoe horn to get in. That seemed to have resolved itself. It hasn’t messed up in a month or so.

I have noticed that it sometimes doesn't work for me also. If you go into the settings I've found that it occasionally turns itself off. I turn it back on and it goes back to working properly.

No, there's no adjustment as far as I know. There also tends to be confusion as some taller people have found that seat to actually move forward instead of back. This comes down to what it's trying to achieve. In order to exit easily you need to have enough room to swing your legs out, but also if you are tall you have to get out from behind the B-pillar. Especially with 4-door cars, the door opening is smaller and the B-pillar is farther forward. It attempts to adjust the seat, so that you don't have the B-pillar in your way when trying to get out. This is partly why I prefer 2-door coupes. The door opening is much bigger and the B-pillar is farther back. In most 4-doors I have the B-pillar right next to my head and it blocks my sideview and I have to climb out from behind it.

How do you enable this ‘entry-exit’ function? I don’t see it in the app. There are so many features I’m still trying to figure out on this car.

You could set seat memory 1 to be your driving position and memory 3 to be your entry/exit position. Yes, this is not automatic... but aren't there a lot of settings you wish were not automatic? (e.g., interior alarm; sound system state at start). Think of this as a way to take control... a small victory.
