USB for Dashcam Overheating

USB for Dashcam Overheating
I'm getting intermittent errors that my usb is too slow for my dashcam on my 2024 GLE580. I'm using this 400mb/s usb https://a.co/d/0iE6xJ8S I found on Amazon. I've even tried all three usb ports (2 in front on cup holders and 1 in center console) but still seeing these errors. Seems the stick gets pretty hot.
Anyone else experiencing this and maybe have a recommendation for a different usb stick/drive that works better?

We have the built-in dashcam, and the USB port has already burned up two USB drives over the past 18 months. Now, when we plug in a USB-C cable just to charge a phone, the cable becomes extremely hot almost instantly. We took the vehicle to the dealer, but they informed us that the USB port isn’t covered under the CPO warranty. They quoted $1,100 plus tax to replace it. Even after offering a $300 discount, we declined the repair. For reference, it’s the right-side USB port located above the front cup holders.
