It seems that the Auto Hold feature wasn't engaged when I stopped on a hill in Electric Mode (EL Mode). However, when the combustion engine was on, Auto Hold engaged automatically.

To activate Auto Hold manually in EL mode, I had to press the brake pedal deeply.

Is there a way to set up Auto Hold so that it engages automatically in any driving mode?

Hold works as expected on our GLE450e

You double tap the brake pedal at a stop to engage.

Actually, our MDX had a button for BRAKE hold. It stayed on until you turned the car off.

My Wife's Honda CRV has the brake hold button. It stays on all the time (until you switch it off), even after turning off/restarting the car. It's a nice feature.
