Took delivery of a 24 GLE350 end of June from Tuscaloosa, AL and ordered with a dashcam which factory deleted from build.
Invoice shows the following line item with credit because MBUX for Augmented reality was deleted due to chip shortage.
D7B Credit for missing Augmented Video for Navigation (U19) (-$350.00)
Dealer says Dashcam was also deleted because it needs the augmented navigation.
Dealer thinks the dashcam can be installed later but I suspect I will need to go aftermarket.
Regarding heads-up display I've reviewed the manual and searched this forum and looked on-line, but I can't see it on my display.
I googled an image of HUD for my model but for the life of me I can't figure out how to enable HUD if I actually have it.
Any thoughts on how to activate HUD or is this another feature lost by not having the chip for augmented nav?

Did you order the Pinnacle Trim option? Do you have the cutout in the dash in front of the steering wheel where the HUD resides? If so, you need to enable the HUD (owners manual page 310)
As stated above, HUD only comes with the Pinnacle trim option. It has nothing to do with the augmented reality. Without the camera for Augmented reality, there is no Dash cam. There is a big hole in the dash if you have the HUD.
