The Reset Technique also works for windows.
I didn't know about this procedure when I was In Steamboat Springs and my sunroof refused to close in a big snowstorm - C240. Bought a tarp and hunk of plywood to keep the snow out. The next day my Service Advisor told me the trick.
A couple years ago I had a wind noise in an ML that turned out to be a window that stopped 1/8" short of fully closed. Re-synchronized and the wind noise was gone.
