GLE 450e RPM’s spike when starting
Has anyone had an issue with their GLE plugin hybrid engine ramping to 2 when starting the vehicle even though there’s battery available? Isn’t it suppose to start in electric mode? When it starts it ramps to 2 and stays at 2 or above when you begin driving. Is that supposed to happen?

If there is range available, the car should be starting in El mode. Check the mode to make sure it’s starting in EL mode.

There is definitely range available for EL. Not sure why it was start on gas with RPM’s ramping
