So I've had 4 GLE450's and this is my first GLE580. The other night I was driving and looked at the temperature on dashboard. Right next to the temp on the left was a snowflake. Seems to appear below 40 degrees. Anyone know what that means? I've searched the manual to no effect.

It is an indicator that temps are cold enough that the driver should be aware that icy conditions may exist.

My old vw did the same at 39/40 degrees and manual explained it.

When water evaporates, it cools, under the right conditions the road can ice over a few degrees above freezing particularly at bridges.

In the 80s, BMWs had a chime that sounded at 37F. Same purpose.
