GLE 450e battery range over time
My 2024 GLE 450E purchased in February 2024 has a specified battery electric range of 77km per Mercedes Canada.
When the GLE was new it showed estimated range of 96km when 100% charged. My best range measured was 104km highway driving in the summer.
Today my fully charged range shows 84km. This is with mostly city/suburb driving the past month.
Some times I charge after fully depleting. Some times at 60% remaining. Level 2.
Should I only deep discharge or is this expected range change.

I received mine in May 2024 and have 12,000km on it...includes one road trip from Vancouver to San Diego. Battery range is showing 90km...but going to start to check real range over the next month or two of winter driving. I pretty much only use electric drive and only use the gas motor to keep in good shape. My charging was to plug it in...every day, regardless of how much I used it. Only on some of my longer trips...did I ever deplete it to zero. I'm thinking the winter driving, heated seats...etc will start to eat up more of my battery range this winter...thinking as much as a 20% loss of range....will have to see. As for your question on when to charge....I don't see an answer for that based on our batteries and configuration. MB also do not appear to have a recommendation.
